Brunhilde, a 6 year old Rottweiler, ventured out of her owner’s property into the street. She was shot by an unknown person for an unknown reason, and left for dead. Her owners, Drs Sarel and Marti Koen, looked everywhere in desperate hope to find their pet. She was eventually found by a Metro policeman, who took her to a veterinary clinic for emergency treatment. Radiographs revealed an extensive wound, and a fractured shoulder. She was treated for 24 hours, but the pain was excruciating. |
